Purchasing & Shipping

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.
How do I pay?
Payments are taken through PayPal or Stripe in Euro [€]. It´s not necessary to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. None of your debit/credit card details will be stored
Purchasing with a deposit
You are welcome to purchase a painting over €500 in instalments. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting. The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Once you´ve made the final payment your painting will be send to you.
If you are interested in this arrangement please get in contact and I will answer your questions and send the details by email. This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
Paying by bank transfer
Many Spanish customers prefer to pay by bank transfer as this is quick and usually free for you. It also saves me credit card fees if you select this option at checkout. Thank you! You will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please do so immediately as the artwork is marked as sold at the moment of your purchase and unavailable to others.
I have placed my order. When will I receive my painting?
Original paintings and illustrations will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. I choose he shipping company depending on size and weight of the parcel. Most national deliveries arrive within 2 or 3 days from time of shipping but sometimes they take a bit longer. Please allow 10 working days in total.
If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me before purchasing to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be extra charges for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Artwork can be shipped to most countries worldwide but due to the current situation [Covid-19, Brexit] there are some limitations and these can change quickly. Therefore I have enabled automated checkout for deliveries to the Spanish mainland and most EU countries only at present.
In addition, I reserve the right to cancel the purchase if the actual shipping costs significantly exceed the estimated shipping costs. In that case I´ll get in touch with you to discuss the matter before taking any actions.
If you get a notification that no shipping option is available for your chosen destination, please message me with your details and indicate the artwork you are interested in and I will inform you about shipping options. Keep in mind that shipments outside the EU may be subject to import duties, handling fees and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer´s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional costs.
HOWEVER if you have found something you love and you are ok with additional fees that might occur please contact me and we will try to find a way to get that painting to you.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
Is it possible to collect my artwork directly from your studio?
Of course! If that is an option for you, just select pick up from the studio at checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is located in Amoeiro, about 15 km north of Ourense.
Is shipping included?
Not in the prices listed with each individual artwork but it will be calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the work and your location.
Also, I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements which will be noted in the shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting, select local pickup (= no charge) and the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.
My painting has arrived but I don´t like it.
First of all, I want you to be happy with your new artwork. If for some reasons a painting is not as you expect, please get in touch via email within 7 days of its arrival to request a refund. After confirmation you´ll be responsible for packing and arranging a return within 14 days preferably by the same courier. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund the price of the painting within 14 days by your initial payment method. Shipping costs and any fees are not refundable.
Please keep in mind that at this point I am not able to offer refunds or returns on any products sent outside of Spain.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is packed and wrapped with the upmost care. If you receive work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and keep a photograph both of the damaged item and the wrapping. I´ll get back to you shortly.
